Germany - Berlin







Berlin's cathedral, a beautiful building, had been completely devoured by fire. Here you can see it after an extensive restoration.

Some other buildings have been left untouched since the World War... When I saw that church, I had a rather unpleasant shudder running through my body as I could just imagine all the city like this, destroyed, with its people's agony and despair.

The horrible legacy of Russian architecture is terribly visible in East Berlin...
