Despite its location, the country is rather peaceful and the Jordanians are very friendly! I only stayed in Amman, the capital. So I didn's have the opportunity to visit Petra...
When I went to visit this archeological place, I was surprised to see that the Spaniards have done much to restore it! (Cooperación Española). When I was in the premisses, there was a bus full of Thais that just arrived! They spread all around to visit the place. I was happily surprised!
