москва (Moscow)





Here, I placed myself just in the centre of the Red Square and took a picture of each side, so you can have an idea of what the square looks like!

1/ That's an old building, I have no idea what it was before, but now it's a huge shopping centre full of galleries (GUM department store).
2/ On one side, there's the State Historical Museum that shows the history of the Russian nation. Unfortunately, I have not been inside...
3/ On the opposite side of the long square, you can find the famous Saint Basil's Cathedral, even more impressive when you see it with your own eyes than in a picture! It's really in perfect shape and its architecture is astonishing!
4/ And finally, all along one of the sides of the square, you have the huuuuuge Kremlin in front of which there's Lenin's Mausoleum. I could not get inside coz the visiting hours are quite restricted.
